This is the short resume of Camiel Schoonens, a husband and proud father to three children currently living and working from the Netherlands. In my current role I’m leading a global Product and team in ADP.

SVP for the Acceptance Global Business Division. This global distributed workforce of 1700+ Product and Technology people is responsible for the ideation, design, engineering and operations of payment products for both Online and In-Person commerce. My products are used by 150.000 merchants and millions of consumers on a daily basis. - Ingenico ePayments acquired by Worldline (2016 – 2020)
Chief Technology Officer
VP Technology and CTO for the ‘Global Online’ business unit. As CTO responsible for the build and run of Ingenico’s eCommerce payment products in Europe, India and South America. - Improvision Consultancy en Advies (2016 – 2019)

Working for Ingenico ePayments with the assignment to transform the Product and Technology organisation of the ‘Global Online’ business unit into a modern and global operating model. As a leader I’m proud when people look back at my legacy and describe me as a person who delivered on his promises. This is what I stand for and would be the culture I would want to leave behind with any team that I work with.

People often confuse having a plan with having a strategy. A strategy is a unique set of steps which when executed successfully gives you a durable competitive advantage.
A plan is just a bunch of work. If it doesn’t lead to a competitive advantage then it isn’t a strategy.
